Which idea should I choose?

Which idea should I pick to write first?
I have a few ideas roaming around in my head and here are two of them that I really want to write. Which one should I write about first?
1. Girl gets kidnapped by secret agent, romance and tons of action.
2. 2060 dolls and humans, romance a bit of action, Maybe he's a spy.
3. Maybe something like Maximum ride but different, and better.

Plot Bunnies 10!!

It’s plot bunnies TEN!! *Dances around the computer like a nut*
Well here it is folks, and today instead of writing tips (it’s only for today so don’t worry), I decided to do amateur writing mistakes. : )

AMATEUR WRITING MISTAKES
Here are some mistakes that amateur writers make, most of us are amateurs but knowing the mistakes that other people have made can help us.

1. Run-on sentences.
2. A boring beginning
3. To few or to many descriptions
4. Switching tenses (that bothers everyone!)
5. Too many clichés in one book
6. Mary Sues and Gary Stus
7. Not listening to advice and critques
8. Writing a twilight Fan-fic
9. Locking yourself in your room to write
10. Writing about a sparkly vampire

WRITING PROMPTS
1. What do you think about when you hear the word ‘Rutabaga’? Write it down.
2. Using to characters from one of your novels or stories, make them having a texting conversation using very crappy phones.
3. Sit down with yourself in twenty years and have a chat.
4. Have you ever been to China? Write about your experience even if you’ve never been there. Can you do it?
5. Go and have a random word war with someone on the nano site.
6. Your calculator is talking to you. What do you do?? *runs and screams*
7.  Do you see that? No you don’t. Do you see it now Daisy? It’s a squirrel!

Excitement is in the air. . .

Hello y'all! It's Anna here with tons of news. :)
  1. The next moderator for our Novel Writing Year site will be announced today once me and RedRoses (redrosesandviolets) decide.
  2. I just created a new banner for the site.
  3. My crush is getting braces. Okay that's not really news but. . .
  4. I'm going to post an excerpt of my new novel.
Okay. . .I think that's it. Once Redroses decides who shall be the moderator, we will announce it on our site. Stay tuned for details.
Since I was bored, I decided to start a new novel, yes I know, shame on me. Well here it is. Enjoy.

Chapter one: The beginning of my college years.
“Your luggage,” said the chauffer, putting my suitcases down at my feet. I nodded at him, searching for some kind of answer to my unspoken question. But he merely nodded back, and got back into his black limo. I bit my lip and looked up at the grand doors of the school. And that's when I noticed what was carved into the stone above them.
9. 19. 1992
It was my birthday, definitely a coincidence. But before I could think anything else, I quickly walked up to the door and knocked on the old wood panel that was part of the door. I knocked on the door and a petite, slender gray-haired woman answered the door.
“My name is Amaria Worthington,” The old woman at the front door said briskly, “And this is your Ambrosia Hall.” It looked like a high school to me, not a college. Or maybe like a castle. It had seemed like Ambrosia Hall was vacant, with no one living in any of the rooms. It was deadly silent and I actually jumped when Amaria lead me into the next room where a woman with coal black hair was standing by the stairs. She was standing stock still, unblinking and expressionless.
You must be wondering what’s happening. Well I’ll tell you. My name is Enya Willows, I’m nineteen years old and going to college. Obviously my mum didn’t care where she sent me off to school just as long as she did and this is where she dumped me. Ambrosia Hall is the name of this wretched school where I have the only adventures that I have had in my entire life. This is just the beginning of my story.
“Ah Mrs. Ambrosia, this is your new student Enya Willows.” I glanced nervously around the large, dark yet airy main hall. It reminded me of a cellar or a cave. I really did expect bats to be flying around and having stalagmites dripping water down onto our foreheads.
“Pleasure to meet you Enya. I’m Mrs. Ambrosia your main teacher. I teach your Language Arts Class. Come with me and I’ll show you to your dorm.” I had only been there a minute or so and I was already being shown to my room. I really didn’t want to see my room, there were probably going to be vampire bats in there.
“Who’s in my dorm room with me?” I asked quietly as we padded up the metal, spiraling stair case.
“Charlotte is already there and some other girls will probably be coming here soon. We get lots of late arrivals.” Mrs. Ambrosia smiled as she let her pale, fragile hand glide along the banister.
“Mmmmh, so what is she like?” I asked as we reached the top of the staircase.
“You’ll see in time.” Mrs. Ambrosia’s voice hinted a smile. So much for getting a straight answer.

Dancer, a poem

 Dancer
I am a dancer
The dancer I am
Jump, step step
Jump step step
Look at me fly
Look at me soar
Above the clouds
And beyond
Watch me, like a bird
Like a plane
Like a cloud
Fly above everything
Above the warm, green grass
Above the farms, the cities, the skyscrapers
Above the the dance studio
Where I dance
My heart and soul out
Every day of the month
Every day of the year
Every afternoon of every day
I dance
I am a dancer

~~That's MY work. You steal, you suck. :) Don't steal my work or any one else's for that matter. Okay, that's all.

Facts about NCIS

This is just a really random thing that I thought I would post. ;) Read on. . . to see some famous NCIS quotes.
Big d as in dimwitt, little i as i idiot little n as in nitwitt, little o obtuse, two z's like ZZ top, hi boss. ~Tony
I'm being rock walled by the Pentagon. ~Ziva
It's a tale of unrequited love between a boy and his machine, you can use that if you want but remember you have to have a love story.~Tony
Gibbs: Anything else? Abby: A Number (holds up post-it). Gibbs: One Two Six?Abby:One hundred and twenty six. That is the number of days that Tony, McGee, and Ziva have been gone. I really didn't think you'd let it get into triple digits, Gibbs. But now it's way more. It's like a third of a whole year. I miss them.Gibbs: Abby, you had lunch with McGee yesterday.Abby: It's not the same. I miss them collectively. As a group. My three musketeers.

Tony: Yeah, I'll get that APB out on the lollipop guild.

Gibbs: (smashing cell phone on desk) I hate this thing! It's crap!
Kate: There's a secretary from the Pentagon downstairs and she claims her boss is being held hostage by his computer. Gibbs: See, (holds up smashed phone) there's a reason I didn't trust these things. (tosses it to McGee) Here, reboot that or something. (to Kate) Send her upMcGee: Reboot it? Kate: Or you can do what we always do. (Tony pulls a box out of a filing cabinet drawer filled with new, unopened phones and hands it to McGee) Tony: It's his third one this month.

Abby: (as her computer fizzles and crashes) NO! NO, NO, NO,... My baby just french-fried!

My interview with iamjimmymuffins

Username: Annaswanson48

Stories: The dancers, twisted girls, blurred visions, and of course my own life story: http://annaswanson.blogspot.com/

How did you find Wattpad? I actually don't remember. . . I think I was on the nanowrimo young writers site and I came across a post on the forum about wattpad. I started exploring wattpad and joined! *Waves to everyone*

How long have you been writing? Since fifth grade, so it's been maybe three years. I started writing for an audience(as in I'm going to sell my novel) when my English teacher made us write a short story, well my short story was 7 pages long and it wasn't even finished when it was due. She really inspired me to write, Mrs. M is my favorite teacher of all time!

What first inspired you to start writing? Oh wow, hard question. I came up with this idea(I was ten okay!) Potter's school for extraordinary children. It can't be sold because it's a short story and it's based a bit on Harry Potter. It's his school. It was and still is only seven pages and unfinished. I don't think I'll rewrite it or continue writing it.

Which do you prefer, reading or writing? Writing, because I can create novels that I can read and that I want to read. Yes I could live without reading, but not without writing.

What is your favorite thing about writing? I love being able to create the characters! It's fun being able to take your friends, change their names, and then remold their personalities and traits to form a completely new person. My friends are awesome in real life and I make sure that they're great friends to my main character. :)

Out of the characters you've created, which one is your favorite? Whoa, there are so many. . . mmmmhmhhhhh. Wait WAIT!!! I'm pondering the question!!! I have to say Miri from my Nanowrimo 2010 novel, she died though, but she was a great character while she was alive. It was depressing to kill her, but me and Lauren(the main character) managed to live afterward. Well, uh Lauren had a mental break own but otherwise we're fine.

What is your favorite genre to write, and why? I love writing Realistic fiction, I'm not to fond of fanfiction or westerns.

What makes you want to read a book or story? The book cover, yes I said it! THE BOOK COVER. I do judge a book by it's cover, usually. If it has a horrible cover from the seventies, well don't expect me to read it. If it doesn't have a cover, I judge it from the summary on the back and the title. I am a very picky reader, and I appreciate the art of book covers.

What makes you want to stop reading, or never start reading, a book or story? I will stop reading, or never read a book that has to do with Twilight and/or werewolves. I've read Twilight and watched the movies, I hate them all. Sorry Twi-hards, I just don't think Stephie is a good writer.

Who are your favorite (non-Wattpad) authors? Well, for non-fiction I love Brigid Lowry. I think she only has one non-fiction book out, it's called Juicy writing it is the best book I've ever read on writing!! I also like Danica McKellar who wrote some math books, math is my worst subject, it always has been. Danica actually helped me raise my C to a B+. Yes I'm smart, but not in math. :) Oh and my favorite fiction writers are Kate Dicamallo and Kate Brian.

Do you feel that these authors inspire you? Yes indeed they do, they very much inspire me. Especially Brigid, her book on writing is marvelous(as she would say) and ultra-fab. Her book has inspired me to write many of my novels. Thanks Brigid!

Who were your favorite authors as a child? Dr. Suess of course!

Do you often share your stories with family and friends, or just the Wattpad community? Oh my gosh, I would be mortified if I gave my family and friends one of my novels to read. *Groans* I can't even think about it. They would tell me things that are coated with sugar, brown sugar, whipped cream, and powdered sugar, okay maybe not that much sugar but they would praise me so honestly I would die. I never let them read any pieces of my work. The only time I did that was when I took a paragraph out of my NCIS fanfiction and let my NCIS obsessed friend read it, I killed the main character Gibbs. . . she didn't like that.

Do you ever have writer's block, and if so, how do you overcome it? ARHG!! Cursed writer's block! Just in December of 2010 I was crazy and frantic to get all of my ideas down on paper and finished, that didn't go over well. I had the opposite of writer's block. . .let's call it writer's cramp from now one. Shall we? It was like writer's block, only when I wrote my 'novel' that was supposed to be 30,000 words was 1,000. Yea, not good at all.
I eventually over came it by writing down all of my ideas and choosing only one to work on at a time. I'm doing nanowriyear and that might help me with my writer's cramp.

How do you handle criticism or negative comments? I just stick my tongue out at them and take it. If they say that I'm 'a b**ch' or 'your writing is cr*p,' then I ignore them. If it is criticism then I take it, I deal with it, and I learn from it. If they are just pulverizing me with negative comments in the critique, then I know they are just doing that to get on my bad side and I ignore the rest of their comments.

Do you plan to publish a book someday? Heck yea! I've already found a publishing company that looks like a good publisher. I'm excited, I think that I might submit one of my edited novels in around July or possibly December. :)

What advice would you give to struggling Wattpad authors? Write, write, WRITE people write! It doesn't matter what you write, just write, it will help your skills as an author and I guess as a student/individual too. Ask for critiques, write in your free time, and explore the world around you. Inspiration and be found anywhere (including school and the sewer).

What is one thing you would like to change on Wattpad? Nothing, I love it just the way it is right now! It's an awesome site

Are there any Wattpad stories or authors you would like to recommend? I recommend 'The wingless faerie' it's a great story. I also love 'Hey Mr. Kidnapped, can you give me a ride home?' That's my current read. :)

Comment, vote, and read my stories.
Thanks for interviewing me,
Anna Swanson
P.S. That's my pen name. :) Do ya like it?

Ahhhhhhh Super bowl sunday

Would ya look at that? It's super bowl sunday! Ha my teams aren't playing because they're just plain bad teams. The giants and jags. :)
So i just came up with a great novel idea, I wrote it down and it will be my next novel! So it will be my March novel, ah I can't wait for spring. The poor groundhog saw his shadow. Uh oh my parents yelling at me to get off of the computer, I guess I should.
Bye bye,
Anna!!

Ehmagawd!

I'm getting my Caroline Duprot signed Pointe shoes!! My mom is ordering them right now. Oh and here is the seventh issue of plot bunnies:

It’s plot bunnies seven. I have no words to how excited I am. :)
I also added a new section called interview with your character. It features questions to ask your characters so that you can get a better feel to how they would react to some situations. Submit your questions to ask characters today. By the way, I only create three questions for that section.
WRITING TIPS
{1} Wattpad and yahoo answers are your friends. Play with them!
{2} Try a different genre, it may improve your writing.
{3} To organize your writing use a system that works for you. I use the roman numeral way, and sometimes the colored note card system. I have a post on my blog about outlining, check it out!
{4} Go to this link to find out how to get more than three thousand words in a day!!
http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/node/815711
{5} It’s best to use a strong verb than to use an adverb and a weak verb.

WRITING PROMPTS
{1} Name your character sponge bob. I double dog dare ya! :)
{2} Use this as your prompt: If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed simultaneously, 90% of all teenagers would either go insane, go into a coma, or die
{3}Imagine your friends as dogs. What would happen if they were actually turned into dogs? How would they react?
{4} Make a list of what you could never ever live with out.
{5} Write about how much you LOVE Justin Beiber. If you don’t like him than pretend you’re an obsessed fan. I hate him.
{6} Three words: Flappers, illegal alcohol, and Charlie Chaplin.
{7} Pretend to be Charlie Chaplin for a day. What was it like? Write it down?

INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
These are to your character, like on the Jay Leno show(or something like that).
{1} What would you do if you met Justin Beiber?
{2} Do you hate school? Why or why not? How would you educate students if there was no such thing as school, and all of their parents worked?
{3}What’s your favorite brand and flavor of gum? Why?

SURVEY
{1} How can we make the newsletter better?
{2} What things should we include to make the newsletter better?
{3} What things should we put in the trash to make the newsletter better?
{4} Would you recommend this newsletter to friends?
{5} Should we include Nanowriters biographies and interviews?
{6} Is there anything else you wanna say?

CONTEST!!!!
To celebrate I have a spot open for anyone and everyone, all you have to do is write a nonfiction article on writing. If you don’t want to write a short (less than 800 words) article then you can create writing tips, researching tips, or how to write a better novel. The winner will have a permanent spot helping the newsletter, and will get to write short articles, and/or tips for writing in the newsletter. They will get credit on my blog and on the newsletter! Good luck, and the form is at the bottom of the newsletter. This spot will be open until February 12 2011.**
